CRANBORNE CHASE PICTURES
Cranborne Chase has been a fertile source of inspiration to Artists for many generations – and a recent article by Viv Light in the Dorset Life magazine describes this well. The article is an extract from Viv’s recently published book - Circles and Tangents (published by Canterton Books).
This unique Cranborne Chase Pictures website has been launched to show some of the work inspired by this breathtaking locality. The website further provides interesting information about some of these artists and displays a selection of the work produced by them.
As a vast number of pieces of work are held in the Cranborne Chase Pictures library, the work shown here is only a sample of the work we have and so periodically we will update the website.
Occasionally original work is available for purchase, or available as a strictly limited edition of certified prints (signed by the Artist if possible). In addition a selection of Postcards and Greeting Cards are available.
Cranborne Chase Pictures was founded in 2005 by a small number of Cranborne Chase and other local artists. Their collection of works are often on public display at various galleries.
